The art project Desconocida Unknown Ukjent by artist Lise
Bjørne Linnert is a political project related to abuse against women, where people
globally show solidarity and protest by embroidering nametags.
So far 2200 people have participated from all corners of the
globe.

The workshop lasts 2 hours. The award-winning documentary Missing
young women by Lourdes Portillo will be shown whilst the participants embroider
names onto small nametags. These names are the names of women who have been
killed or have disappeared. The nametags will follow the art project. During
the workshop, there will be a dialogue between the participants, the artist and
the curator of the exhibition. No previous knowledge about embroidery is
required.
