As a part of RC Thierry Geoffroy is the creator  and organizer  of Critical Run  in Trondheim 8 May

The title REALITY CHECK refers to the act of identifying whether one’s ideas and visions are rooted in reality.
Reality Check wishes to bring attention to art and artists concerned with social and political issues, art and activism. The title may here also be interpreted as art examining reality. REALITY CHECK involves artists working with projects examining reality, our everyday life, the lives we lead,
the society and world we live it in, whether these projects are in the form of dialogues with the general public, interventions, documentaries or protests.
The project wishes to put an increased focus on art as a social activity, where the gallery  functions as a social arena where the different artists meet and ideas are exchanged with the audience. Therefore various activities  such as talks, workshops and special screenings, will take place during the project period.
For updated information about the special events please see www.samtidskunst.no
There will be interventions in the urban space of Trondheim, as well as video works, photo-based works, texts, objects and installations.
In addition to the large gallery area on street level, The Black Cube, the video room in the basement, will clone itself  and multiply for the purpose of showing
Partisan Songspiel  by Chto Delat, Vladan Jeremic and Rena Rädle , The Complaints Choir by Tellervo Kalleinen and Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen,
and Pyromanic excersises and Voodoo Instructions by Martyna Starosta.
Art and activism in a historical perspective will be part of REALITY CHECK  through texts and  the video programme ACTIONS!
legendary activist/performance-projects by Kjartan Slettemark, Fia Stina Sandlund, Ann Sofie Sidén and others.  The Videoprogramme is curated by Anna Linder /FILMFORM

A publication will be produced on the topic of activism and art in a contemporary as well as historical perspective.
The publication contains texts by e.g. Misko Suvakovic (Prof.Dr  University of Belgrade ), Anders Burman (Historian of Ideas, Sweden) and Ana Vilenica ( PhD Art Theory Serbia). Kjetil Røed Writer/Art critic ,Norway.
